Leadership

Jason Harris was born in Meridian, Mississippi, where he spent much of his early childhood before moving to Wake Forest, North Carolina. Jason completed an undergraduate education in Christian ministry at Baptist Bible College in Clark’s Summit, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Divinity at The Expositor’s Seminary in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Before entering vocational ministry, he spent ten years working in emergency services and also served as a Law Enforcement Chaplain. Jason has served in pastoral ministry in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania and received pastoral training at Twin City Bible Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In 2022, he came to Desert Ridge Baptist Church with a desire to see Christ glorified in Southern Utah.  

Jason has been married to his wonderful wife, Christine, since 2007, and they have two boys, Macon and Weston. They enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors and beholding God’s majesty through His creation.
